HOUSE RULES

When staying at a Socialgully homestay as a traveler, it's important to be respectful of the host's home and follow certain rules to ensure a harmonious and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Here are some general rules to keep in mind:

1. Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with your host. Inform them in advance about your arrival time and any changes to your plans. If you have any specific requirements or preferences, discuss them in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.
2. Respect the Home: Treat the homestay as if it were your own home. Respect the property and the belongings of the host. Keep your living area tidy and clean up after yourself. Follow any specific rules or guidelines provided by the host regarding the use of common areas.
3. Quiet Hours: Be mindful of other guests or residents in the homestay. Respect quiet hours and avoid making excessive noise, especially during nighttime. This includes keeping the volume of electronic devices, conversations, and activities at a considerate level.
4. Visitor Policy: Check with your host about their policy on visitors. Some homestays may have restrictions or guidelines regarding inviting guests over. Always inform your host in advance if you plan to have someone visit you during your stay.
5. Food and Beverages: If meals are included in your homestay arrangement, be punctual and respectful of meal times. Follow any specific instructions or and guidelines provided by the host regarding meals. If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, communicate them in advance. If you plan to use the kitchen for preparing your meals, check with the host about their policies and clean up.
6. Safety and Security: Lock your room or living area when you leave and respect the privacy of others. Be cautious with valuable belongings and keep them in a secure place. Report any damages or problems to the host immediately.
7. Cultural Sensitivity: Respect the local customs, traditions, and culture of the state of Uttarakhand. Be mindful of your behavior during your stay. Be polite to everyone, and don't behave disrespectfully or negatively.
8. Check-In Procedures: Usually, the check-in time starts from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. If there is any delay, kindly inform the host in advance to keep it safe.
9. Check-Out Procedures: When it's time to check out, usually it's around 11:00 am. In case of early or delayed exit, kindly speak to the host to create a better solution.
10. Cleaning & Maintenance: No drinking or eating is allowed inside the bedroom. Keep all the trash in the dustbin before leaving the premises. Turn off any electronic devices before you check out from the property.

In order to comply with Uttaranchal government regulations, guests must provide a valid photo ID (such as a passport) at check-in.

For foreign nationals only: Please submit copies of both your visa and passport during the booking process.

SPECIAL NOTE

• It is common for hosts to reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors who do not comply with their house rules. As a guest, it's essential that you respect these guidelines in order to avoid penalties or deductions from your security deposit.
• The violation of the house rules may include excessive noise, damage to the property, illegal activities on the premises, disrespecting the host or other guests, and not following basic norms.
• In case of any problems or concerns, it is best to speak with the host and come to a resolution. When you are staying at someone else's home, it is important to follow their rules so that everyone can feel safe and comfortable. Let your host know if there is anything they might be unclear about–this will help make sure that nobody gets hurt or feels uncomfortable during the stay!

Extra Charges:

1. Prices may vary subject to availability & peak season rate.
2. Any additional guest would cost INR 1,000 extra.
3. Kids below the age of 12 are free to stay on our premises.
